Vacation
It’s important to get away and disconnect from work every now and then. That’s why we dedicate vacation time of 3 weeks per year, for those with less than 10 years with TECH, and 4 weeks per year for those with 10 years or more. Just make sure you consult with your supervisor prior to making your vacation plans (typically 3 to 4 weeks in advance). On rare occasions due to customer commitments or other team members being away, we may not be able to accommodate your request but will do our best to make it happen.
It should be noted that failure to take a vacation could result in overheating, burnout, and, well, a pretty dull existence. Take the time off you need and deserve!
Sick
If you are sick and unable to come into work, please notify your supervisor as soon as possible. Sick days are at no pay. You may be required to supply a doctor’s note for frequent or extended absences.
Other
Other types of leave such as family, medical and service are available. Please reference The Saskatchewan Employment Act, 2-43 to 2-59.
