- 1981 – TECH was founded by Brian and Lynn Timmerman out of a home office in Saskatoon. Lynn provided family income from her 2nd job at the bank to allow for re-investment in TECH.
- Long-time employees Kevin Sarauer and Kelly Timmerman began shortly after founding.
- 1991 – TECH established local crews in Prince Albert, we are still local to this day.
- Our first major project was Confederation Mall in Saskatoon. Brian launched his shoe in celebration after getting the phone call, damaging the ceiling!
- 2002 – Brent starts on the tools with TECH during his summer breaks from his Engineering studies at the U of S.
- 2004 – TECH is awarded its largest contract to date, the Dakota Dunes Casino. TECH goes on to do electrical for Painted Hand Casino, Northern Lights Casino Addition and Dakota Dunes Casino addition.
- 2009 – Founder Brian Timmerman passes away in February 2009; Kevin, Kelly, Brent and the rest of the TECH team pull together to continue delivering the service TECH has come to be known for.
- 2013–2014 – TECH adds a Site Superintendent and Office Manager to its team.
- 2014 – On TECH’s 33rd Anniversary in April 2014, TECH launches its website, a new brand and implements its first Group RRSP.
- 2015–2016 – TECH continues to grow adding a Project Manager, Estimator and General Manager.
- 2016 – TECH receives Certificate of Recognition (COR) for its safety program from SCSA
